Challenge: Rising tariffs threatened the accessibility and affordability of essential baby products. The Baby Safety Alliance needed to secure tariff exemptions to protect its members, safeguard consumers, and ensure the well-being of the most vulnerable population — babies.
Role: As a strategic communications lead with the Baby Safety Alliance team at KVA, Jaime developed persuasive advocacy messages, crafted media materials, and managed high-stakes media relations to influence policymakers and shape public perception.
Outcome: Positioned the Alliance as the authoritative voice on the safety and quality of baby and children’s products, earned positive national media coverage, and strengthened trust among members, consumers, and policymakers during a period of intense scrutiny.
Related Projects: Also for the Baby Safety Alliance, Jaime developed high-impact content for the 2025 rebrand, annual Baby Safety Month campaigns, Innovation Awards, and the industry’s annual Summit in Washington, D.C. For the Baby Safety Foundation, she supported the development of engaging communications for the Safe Sleep Campaign and Benefit for Babies events.
